FaceIQ Labs, Inc. ("FaceIQ Labs", "we", "us", or "our"), a Delaware corporation located at 111b South Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904, United States, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our facial measurement and analysis tool.
Important: FaceIQ Labs is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. Our facial analysis is not medical advice and should not be taken seriously or used for medical decisions.

- Front and side facial photos that you upload to the Service
- Facial measurement data you provide through the interactive analysis tools
- Analysis results including facial ratios, measurements, scores, and harmony ratings
- Generated insights and recommendations
- Progress tracking data showing changes over time
- Gender and ethnicity selections (if provided by you for more accurate analysis)
2.3 Technical Data
We collect minimal technical information necessary to operate the Service:
- Authentication session data (for login purposes)
- Subscription and payment status
Analytics Data (with your consent): If you consent to analytics cookies, we may collect usage statistics through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, including page views, session duration, and user interactions. This data helps us improve our Service. You can opt out at any time by declining cookies or clearing your browser's local storage.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Facial Analysis: To calculate facial ratios, measurements, symmetry scores, and harmony ratings based on your uploaded photos and inputs
- Service Delivery: To provide, maintain, and improve our facial measurement and analysis tool
- Analysis History: To store your past analyses and enable progress tracking over time
- Account Management: To create and manage your account, subscriptions, and usage quotas
- Communication: To send you service updates, technical notices, and support messages
- Payment Processing: To process subscription payments and prevent fraud
- Model Training and Product Improvement: Only if you have given us separate, explicit permission, we may use your uploaded images, facial landmark data, measurements, analysis inputs, and analysis outputs to internally train, develop, and improve our proprietary machine learning models, algorithms, detection accuracy, and the Service generally. This is described in detail in section 3a below. Agreeing to our Terms of Service and using the Service does not, by itself, grant that permission.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3a. Use of Data for Model Training and Product Improvement
Training is opt-in. We do not use your photos, facial measurements, landmark data, or any other biometric data to train, develop, or refine our machine learning models unless you have given us separate, explicit permission to do so. Agreeing to our Terms of Service and using the Service does not, by itself, grant that permission.
Without your permission: we process your data only to operate and provide the Service — generating your analyses, maintaining your history, providing support, securing the Service, preventing abuse, and meeting our legal obligations. Service providers who process data on our behalf are contractually limited to those purposes and are prohibited from using your data to train their own models.
If you opt in: you permit FaceIQ Labs to use the following categories of data for training and improving our machine learning models, algorithms, and the Service:
- Facial images (front and side) uploaded through the main Service
- Facial landmark positions and measurements
- Analysis inputs and outputs (scores, ratios, harmony ratings)
- User-placed landmark data
- Derived metrics and calculated features
How this data is used: If you opt in, data may be used to train and improve facial landmark detection models, improve the accuracy and reliability of facial analysis algorithms, develop new features and analytical capabilities, benchmark and validate model performance, and enhance the overall quality of the Service for all users. We de-identify or aggregate this data where technically feasible. Certain types of model training (such as improving facial landmark detection accuracy) may require the use of data in its original form.
Internal use only: Model training is conducted exclusively by FaceIQ Labs for internal purposes. Trained models, and the patterns and statistical learnings they incorporate, are the exclusive intellectual property of FaceIQ Labs. We never sell your biometric data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own model training or for advertising.
Your permission is voluntary. Opting in is not a condition of creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using any feature of the Service, and declining does not reduce the analysis you receive.
Withdrawing permission: you may withdraw your permission at any time from your profile page under Data & Privacy, or by contacting us at privacy@faceiqlabs.com. Withdrawal takes effect going forward: we will stop using your data for training. Where your data has already been used to train a model, it is not technically feasible to remove the influence of individual data points from trained model weights, and neither withdrawal nor deletion of your account requires us to retrain or modify models developed before that point.
Effect of data deletion: If you delete your account (including through account settings) or request deletion of your account and personal data, we will honor that request as described in our data deletion policies. Deletion will prevent any future use of your data for training purposes. Models already trained using your data prior to deletion will not be retrained or modified, as described above.
Your consent: Model training requires a separate, explicit opt-in. It is not granted by creating an account, agreeing to our Terms of Service, or using the Service. You can grant or withdraw this permission at any time from your profile page under Data & Privacy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Storage: Your data, including all uploaded facial images, analysis results, measurements, scores, and personal information, is stored securely on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Retention: We retain your uploaded images, analysis history, and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings (for example, from your profile page under the Account section), or you may request deletion by contacting us. We will delete your account, uploaded images, and analysis results within 30 days.
Security Measures: We use encryption, firewalls, and secure protocols to protect your facial images and data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage
5. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
No Warranty: While we implement industry-standard security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. Your use of the Service is at your own risk. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the security, completeness, or accuracy of data protection.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceIQ Labs shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, data breach, data loss, corruption, or deletion of your information, whether caused by security failures, technical errors, third-party actions, or any other cause. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., Stripe for payment processing, cloud hosting providers for secure image storage)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition of all or part of our business
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information
Important: Your uploaded facial images are private and are not shared publicly or with other users. They are only accessible to you through your account and to our systems for the purpose of providing analysis. If you have opted in, they may also be used for internal model training and product improvement as described in section 3a.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:

- Model training: Grant or withdraw permission for us to use your data for model training from your profile page under Data & Privacy. Withdrawal applies going forward; data already incorporated into a trained model cannot be individually removed

- The right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you.
- The right of rectification.
